Do the same thing as a man and you’re “bossy,” “bitchy,” or “aggressive.” Express sexuality and you’re judged, shamed, or reduced. Call out disrespect and you’re told to “calm down,” “take it as a compliment,” or “get a sense of humour.” Even the word feminist has been so deliberately misrepresented that people hesitate to claim it, when at its core it simply means wanting freedom from these double standards and the harm they cause.

This hoodie is a boundary. A deep breath. A quiet (or not so quiet) rebellion. A reminder that women deserve to live, grow, lead, love, create, and exist without constantly burning mental energy navigating scrutiny, labels, and noise. That energy belongs to our dreams, our safety, our careers, our families, our creativity, our joy.
